The Band Looks Forward to an Exciting Future Ahead

It has been over 15 years for the band Rule of Nines, and momentum seems to grow more and more as the years go by. Since their inception in 1994, Rule of Nines have performed to tens of thousands of people at various concerts, festivals, TV specials, corporate functions, and media events across North America. Along the way they have garnered numerous accolades in the music industry including nominations at the 2002 Prairie Music Alliance Awards in Winnipeg (Angel), and the 2003 Canadian Vibe Awards in Calgary. The band was also finalists and featured at the 2005 CKER Showcase Awards in Edmonton. In addition, Rule of Nines was awarded a national prize - the Canadian Futures Fest Peoples Choice Award for 2005.

The response to their 2001 debut CD Angel was simply overwhelming and quickly became an independent bestseller. With a style described as a “brand of rock that is reminiscent of the Eagles”, Rule of Nines has received tremendous media, radio, and television support. Performances have included the Alberta Industry Association Awards in 2001, CTV’s ‘Good Morning Canada’ in 2002, a performance at the Canadian Vibe Music Awards in 2003, ‘The Works International Music Festival’ from 2003 to 2006, and a headlining concert at the closing ceremonies at the worlds largest sporting event – the 2005 World Master Games in front of over 20,000 people. The band has even caught the ear of one of late night talk shows finest - Mr. David Letterman. find out more
