"I love those serendipitous moments when I pop in a CD from an artist I've never heard of before and then become enthralled with the music. Such was the case with 'Angel' by Edmonton's Rule of Nines. Seeing the band in concert underlined the musical competence these guys bring to the stage with their unpretentious, lighthearted and relaxed, yet energetic performance. The biggest beef I have against Rule of Nines is that is had taken them eight years to record their first album."
