Since it's inception in 1994, Rule of Nines have performed to tens of thousands of people at various concerts, festivals and media events across Canada. Along the way they have garnered numerous accolades in the music industry, including nominations at the 2002 Prairie Music Alliance Awards in Winnipeg ("Angel") and the 2003 Canadian Vibe Awards in Calgary. The band were also finalists and featured at the 2005 CKER Showcase Awards in Edmonton, Alberta. The response to their 2001 debut CD "Angel" has been simply overwhelming and has quickly become an independent bestseller. With a style described as “a brand of melodic rock that is reminiscent of the Eagles”, Rule of Nines have received tremendous media, radio and television support. Performances have included the Alberta Recording Industry Association Awards in 2001, CTV's ‘Good Morning Canada' in 2002, a performance at the Canadian Vibe Music Awards in 2003, and most recently a headlining concert at the Closing Ceremonies of the world's largest sporting event – the 2005 World Masters Games in front of over 20,000 people. find out more
